The Missouri Job Centers are all about value-added services to job seekers to help them quickly know their skills, improve their skills, and get a better job than what they had before.
Customers begin with a basic skills assessment, followed by consultation with a workforce specialist on specific job opportunities and ways the Missouri Job Centers can help. Services might include job counseling, workshops, tuition assistance, and much more. The WIB oversees the Missouri Job Centers in Joplin and Monett. Online, job seekers can get resources locally at the Missouri Job Centers websites as well as Missouri’s statewide job bank at jobs.mo.gov. Career services targeted to young adults in need may be found at FutureLink also administered by the WIB.
